History of Zastava
Serbian manufacturer Zastava" was registered in 1953. The company started its activities with the issuance of the license models "Fiat" under his name.
In 1990 the company "Zastava" began to have serious financial difficulties due to the Serbian war that were not allowed to present in full the original development of the brand, the model Yogo Sana.
In 1999 the factory "Zastava" was bombed and production stopped until 2003, when the owners of the company were able to obtain the "Fiat" license to issue similar Fiat Punto. After five years, Serbia has sold the company "Zastava" Fiat, and the brand ceased to exist.
